Welcome to Wondersome Storytime. Each posting will include the storyline of a favorite book, target age group and at least 2 Lesson Plan Ideas to enhance the reader's and/or listener's learning and enjoyment. The lesson plan ideas are just that, ideas. Feel free to fit them however you choose into your own lesson objectives and the scope and sequence of your curriculum.
I have divided the activities into two sections:
Laptime - for reading at home and Story Circle - for the preschool/early elementary classroom or library story time.
Of course, many of the Lesson Plan Ideas are suitable for both. Please feel free to add your ideas for either Laptime or Story Circle activities in the comments section.
